The Brave Brooch campaign celebrates the extraordinary story of Bali Ji,

A partially blind woman who chooses to #breakthebias every day of her life. We took her story to the world to celebrate her journey and the journey of thousands of other women who choose to #breakthebias every day of their lives.

The recipients of the brooch then shared a post on social media telling their #breakthebias story.

Her tiny little textile doll (which she makes out of her memory from childhood) was made into – THE BRAVE BROOCH. Over 1500 brooches were made by a team of 60 women artisans which were then sent to women at

Brookfield, their clients, and to women who choose to

A dedicated website was also created to share the story of Bali Ji and to share the story behind the campaign. Through the website, people could nominate a person for the brooch and we made sure that

the brooch was delivered within 24 hours.
